#257 – Pulling up to the wrong side of the gas pump

I wish my gas light had feelings so it would get that I’m ignoring it and just go away. But unfortunately it doesn’t, and even more unfortunately, it means I have to go to the gas station.

And the typical routine begins. You pull into your local 76 and every spot is taken—except for one, inconveniently located on the exact opposite side of the gas station. Time to put those driving school skills to the test. After a couple of fancy maneuvers and a few dirty looks from your gas station audience, you start to make some progress. And after one final 12-point turn, it looks like you’re set. Just reverse into the spot and you’re golden.

Park.

Take the key out of the ignition.

Open the door……

……wait for it…….

GOD DAMN IT!
